Tenshin Otori (鳳 天心, Ōtori Tenshin) was the king of Neo Tokyo and the overarching antagonist in Tribe Nine.
XB-obsessed, he started training his successor, Ojiro, at a very young age so he’ll become the best XB player around. Above all else, he wants to prove the power of the royal Otori family by defeating all the tribes at XB. It would later backfire on him when Ojiro killed him and became king of Neo Tokyo.
Etymology[]
- The name Tenshin means "zenith, divine will, providence" (天心).
- Tenshin's surname Otori means "phoenix, male phoenix bird" (鳳).
