"If I have a chance...I want to go for it!" - Haru
Haru Shirokane (白金 ハル, Shirokane Haru) is the main protagonist of Tribe Nine he is a new recruit in the Minato Tribe.
A timid boy who is constantly bullied. Though fettered by thoughts of inadequacy, he has excellent eyesight and quick reflexes, weapons that Kamiya pick up on and decides to leverage, inviting Haru to join his Minato Tribe.
Personality[]
Haru was a shy and timid boy, was always targeted by bullies and always self-doubted himself. However, after meeting Shun Kamiya and playing in a game of XB, he became more courageous, confident and willing to face his problems head on.
Compared to Taiga, he's a hard worker and was willingly eager to fully learn all the rules of XB. He also strongly believes in fair play and doesn't like the idea of resorting to underhanded tactics.
Etymology[]
- The name Haru is written in katakana (ハル), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (陽, 春 or 晴), it could possibly mean:
- 陽 - "light, sun, male".
- 春 - "spring".
- 晴 - "clear weather".
- Haru's surname Shirokane means "platinum, silver/silver coin/silver paint" (白金).
Trivia[]
- He strongly resembles Chihiro Fujisaki Ultimate Programmer from Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc.
