Hanafuda Sakura (桜 花札, Sakura Hanafuda) is the ace player of the Taito Tribe.
He’s lazy and a womanizer, but he has a manlier side expressed by his strong sense of duty and compassion, and his low tolerance for those who lack it. His batting skill is second to none, and rumor says that he can masterfully use any cylindrical object as a bat, from a toothpick to a clothesline.

- The name Hanafuda means "floral playing cards" (花札).
- Hanafuda's surname Sakura means "cherry blossom" (桜).
